There are many different scales that the medical community uses to measure the progression of Alzheimer's disease. These systems are useful if they aid in your understanding. We at the Alzheimer's Support Network find that caregivers are often confused rather than helped by trying to decipher these stages. What seems most useful is the basics. We focus on Three Stages: Early, Middle and Late. The articles below describe these stages. We will also present some other systems for your consideration.
